I got busy sewing and almost missed it… but I wanted to jump over here on the Quilting Down Memory Lane blog to wish you a Happy Earth Day!

I’m always happy when I’m turning old clothes into beautiful and useful treasures. By the binful or the bagful, special items can be reused and repurposed.

When I make childhood memory quilts, memorial tribute quilts, and t-shirt quilts out of your loved one’s clothing items, there’s less waste going to landfills. There’s also more life for those special memories, which can continue to be used every day in practical ways.

We’re doing our part to help reduce, reuse, recycle, and repurpose. So, every day feels like Earth Day in my little shop!

Time to quilt some memories!
