Each set of 6 multi-colour “balloons” are hand crocheted with thick absorbent yarn and includes a washable bag for easy laundering.

Dump or dunk the bombs in a bucket of water or pool, then toss them to soak your opponents!

Balloons fill up with water like a sponge, and you can get a few good throws out of them before you need to dunk them again.

What is a Crochet Water Balloon / Water Bomb?

  • Crochet Water Balloons are made with small amounts of super absorbent yarn. They essentially work like a sponge: dunk in water, throw the balloon, get wet, repeat!

  • Crochet Water Balloons are reusable and will last all summer long – hopefully multiple summers even! (Machine wash/ gentle or air dry).

  • Crochet Water Balloons are eco-friendly/mess-free: no harmful scraps left in the yard/pool/beach like you have with standard plastic water balloons.

  • Crochet Water Balloons are easy: it takes zero time to fill these with water. Just dunk them in a bucket and you are good to go!

  • Crochet Water Balloons are latex-free: latex allergies should not be a concern with these.


    Reusable water bombs are machine washable (preferably in a mesh bag) on gentle cycle and tumble dry low (or air dry).

    Each water balloon is about 5″ x 4″ and super soft.

    Made in a smoke free and dog & cat free home (we have a house rabbit and a hedgehog, neither of which ever get near these objects).
