A foundation piecing pattern for a beautiful log cabin style Yin Yang quilt.
This pattern is for a 4-block section with two circles that, when put together, make the complete Yin Yang design.
Each block is 9.5 inches (unfinished), and the full finished section is approximately 18.5 inches square.
Use this pattern to create a small wall-hanging, or as part of a larger project, or repeat the pattern for a full-size quilt of yin yangs.

Description
This Yin Yang design uses the Paper Foundation (a.k.a., paper piecing) method of quilt construction, completed in the log cabin quilt block style.
Only the Yin Yang pattern itself is provided, with basic paper-piecing instructions.
PDF document for download is 21 pages in length.

Materials Needed for Yin Yang as pictured (approximate):
– ½ yard assorted fabrics in 2 colors (¼ yard of each color) for strips to make the yin yang and 2 circles (or a bit less of each of 3 colors if you use a different background)
– Batting: 22 x 22 inch square
– Backing: 22 x 22 inch square
– Binding: ¼ inch double binding with 2 ¼ inch or 2 ½ inch wide binding will require 0.14 yards of fabric (4.5 inches or 5 inches respectively x Width of Fabric)
